Portfolio Administrators and Performance Analysts serve to maintain the accuracy of client accounts: Administrators manage  the daily download of data from custodians; reconcile custodian data; maintain client accounts, prices and securities in the portfolio accounting system; analyzed transactions and entries for performance and issues; calculate and audit performance; prepare and distribute quarterly performance reports; prepare and distribute quarterly and annual tax reports; analyze transactions and entries for performance and tax issues; audit performance returns for accuracy; prepare custom performance reports for clients; track, accumulate and calculate cost basis information; maintained portfolio performance history files; Oversee processing, reconciliation and communication with back office outsource companies and custodians.
